We believe that everyone should have a working knowledge of First Aid. What if someone you knew were to have an accident or suffer a medical emergency - could you help? Or if you saw an accident or medical emergency at work or on the road - would you know what to do?
MediTrain can help you to have the skills and confidence necessary to cope with medical emergencies.
MediTrain offers a comprehensive range of courses - from Basic Life Support (CPR), to Childcare First Aid, Workplace First Aid to advanced training for Health Professionals and other groups so that they can provide advanced Pre-Hospital Emergency Care when required. Most MediTrain courses have NZQA credits attached to them.
Quality Courses and Materials
MediTrain Ltd teaches First Aid courses across New Zealand and is registered with NZQA as a Private Training Establishment (PTE).
Our First Aid courses are recognised by the Ministry of Education and meet the minimum workplace requirements specified by Occupational Safety & Health (OSH).
Our training videos, First Aid manuals and all training materials are sourced, written and filmed in New Zealand for New Zealanders!

First Aid training
MediTrain First Aid courses can be tailored to the particular needs of your business and can take place at your premises or at MediTrain’s own training facilities.
Both the Workplace First Aid course and the Workplace First Aid Refresher course comply with the requirements for the training of First Aid personnel contained in the Health & Safety in Employment Act 1992 and Regulations 1995 (see also section 6 of the Guidance Notes by Occupational Safety & Health). The Refresher course must be completed every two years to ensure that First Aid personnel maintain their skills and are updated with new protocols and procedures.

Advanced Training - Pre-Hospital Emergency Care
MediTrain staff include professionals in the Pre-Hospital Emergency Care field - this allows us to offer a range of courses that cover many aspects of advanced care - for example, our Pre-Hospital Emergency Care course - many of our courses meet the requirements of the relevant standards setting body. We also have a specific advanced course for dentists being finalised at present.
Occupational Health & Safety training
MediTrain can help you to promote workplace safety. We offer training to Unit Standard 497 to train your personnel in Health & Safety.
Other training
In some locations, MediTrain can provide Fire Safety and Awareness, Floor Warden and Suppress Fire with Hand Extinguishers Courses. Contact us to find out more
