Training gives your team the confidence that they can handle health and safety in the workplace.

Prepare yourself with a comprehensive understanding of the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 and the skills needed to apply these principles in the workplace

This course will provide students with the tools to complete relevant documentation, communicate effectively and manage corrective actions when necessary. It is recommended to attend a Basic Health and Safety Course course prior to this training.

Managing risks at work doesn’t need to be a burden, complex or costly to implement. But you must take positive action to make a situation safer, and apply the most appropriate and reasonable control measures.

Course Contents

On successful completion, students will be able to:

  • Locate and use company documentation relevant to the task. Including, standard operating procedures, safety data sheets, workplace drawings, hazard or risk registers
  • Complete a risk management form
  • Run a toolbox talk
  • Use safe and effective communication practices
  • Identifying safe work practices and take corrective action where necessary

    An Apply Safe Work Practices certificate will be issued on successful completion of this course.
