Julie Walker leads MediTrain Otago and Southland with 17 years of experience, offering unique first aid training and safety services. Her expertise in first aid skills and understanding the NZQA requirements, combined with a health and safety diploma, allows for a comprehensive approach.
The team, efficiently managed by office manager Samara, offers a full range of first aid and health and safety courses as well as first aid kit replenishing workplaces. MediTrain is a registered Private Training Establishment (PTE) providing First Aid training nationwide for over 30 years. We are a Category 1 education provider this is the highest ranking that can be given by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA).
Our team is committed to making our community and workplaces safer. MediTrain instructors are qualified by the New Zealand Resuscitation Council, and. They have a wealth of knowledge and experience in first aid.
We base our training philosophy on guidelines from the New Zealand Resuscitation Council which is the standard setting body for resuscitation and first aid in Aotearoa, New Zealand.
