Pre-Hospital Emergency Care

This 3-daycourse is designed to train a person to be capable of providing advanced care in any situation.

Students are trained to a high standard of patient care with instructor and peer assessments throughout the course. This is a very comprehensive course requiring prior study before attending the course to practice the scenario-based skills. Assessment is based on a combination of practical and written activities.

Includes unit standard 29321 - Level 3, 14 credits.

Outdoor First Aid

This course is for people to manage emergency care for a period of up to twelve hours during an outdoor recreation activity. Perfect for people taking groups into the outdoors for overnight activities. This course is run in an outdoor setting to give the participants the most realistic training possible.

Includes unit standard 424 - Level 3, 5 credits.
