Parents Talk 

This is a short 2-hour course that covers the basics of first aid for parents. It is often organised by community centres, childcare centres or parents groups.

There is no enrollment sheet or assessments for this session.  We will provide handouts with Choking Information to all attendees.

Any parents who are interested in learning the essentials of first aid for children

  • Scene management - managing dangers, barriers, calling for help
  • Basic Life Support - airway, breathing, recovery position
  • Child and Infant CPR
  • Choking for Child and Infant
  • Shock
  • Options for additional subjects like Allergy/ Anaphylaxis, Asthma, Seizure (including Febrile Seizures), Bleeding, Nose Bleeding or Poisoning
