Our Level One First Aid Course is designed to provide you with the critical skills and knowledge needed to handle emergency situations in the workplace. This basic first aid course ensures that participants are equipped to manage injuries and medical conditions until professional help arrives, making it an essential part of workplace safety.
It is recommended for low-risk workplaces and designed for people who do not need to know about more advanced topics covered in Comprehensive Workplace First Aid.
This course meets the requirements of the Foundation First Aid Certificate.

Students are required to:
- be able to read and understand English – there are practical, written and verbal assessments in this course.
- be able to kneel on the floor to perform CPR.
- 14 years or older.

- First aid principles
- Approaching an Accident Scene
- Scene Safety
- Primary Assessment - DRSABCD
- CPR - adult / child / infant
- AEDs / defibrillators

- Bleeding
- Shock & recovery position
- Secondary Survey
- Burns, fractures, soft tissue injuries & poisoning
- Heart attacks, asthma, seizures, stroke & diabetes
- 6401 Provide First Aid - Level 2, Credits 1
- 6402 Provide Basic Life Support - Level 2, Credits 2

Public First Aid Classes:
Choose a convenient day and enrol in our public first aid classes, available on both weekdays and weekends.
Classes run from 8:30 am to 3.30 pm.
