For Students
We deliver first aid training in an interactive way that engages students, builds up their confidence and gives them valuable NZQA credits. Courses are led by highly qualified and skilled instructors who know how to keep people interested and make learning life-savings skills enjoyable.
Cost-effective - For groups of 12 or more students, we will come to your school and provide a 25% discount on training fees. For larger groups of 50 or more, this discount increases to 35%. In both cases, one teacher per class attends free of charge.
For Staff
You will have a practical and fun course - working in small teams, participants get to practice their skills in the school setting with interactive scenarios. Covers all topics teachers need in a school environment, including life-saving CPR. Instructors are able to cover and discuss medical conditions specific to your school.
Cost-effective - we offer 10% discount for all staff on group bookings of 8 or more and 20% discount for groups of 40 or more staff.

Flexible training
Understanding the constraints of taking time off for training, we offer blended courses, combining 4 hours of online self-directed study with a full day of in-person training. This flexibility is especially beneficial for schools as most of our first aid training can be completed in one school day.

MediTrain is a registered Private Training Establishment (PTE) providing First Aid training nationwide for over 30 years. We are a Category 1 education provider this is the highest ranking that can be given by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA).
Our team is committed to making our community and workplaces safer. MediTrain instructors are qualified by the New Zealand Resuscitation Council, and. They have a wealth of knowledge and experience in first aid.
We base our training philosophy on guidelines from the New Zealand Resuscitation Council which is the standard setting body for resuscitation and first aid in Aotearoa, New Zealand.
