This popular 1-day first aid course meets the guidelines from WorkSafe New Zealand (Feb 2020) and Ministry of Education requirements for early childhood education centres and kōhanga reo. It is a statutory requirement in the Education and Training Act 2020 to have first aid-qualified staff.
This is an ideal childcare first aid course as it covers the full range of first aid you may need to provide in any emergency situation within such work environments. By practicing skills in scenarios, you will gain the confidence to provide first aid when an accident or emergency occurs.
