Why Central Plateau teams choose MediTrain

We're a family business that has been delivering first aid training for over 30 years. As an NZQA Category 1 education provider, we base everything we teach on New Zealand Resuscitation Council guidelines, and we design all our course materials right here in New Zealand.

Learning that sticks

Our courses mix video, props, hands-on practice and real scenarios, because in an emergency you don't want to remember a boring class. You want to remember what to do.

Flexible by design

Complete your theory online whenever it suits you, then attend a single day in class. No full days lost to slides and lectures, and no starting from scratch on course day.

Engaging instructors

Many of our instructors come from paramedic, nursing or healthcare backgrounds, and all of them are skilled at adapting to how each person in the room learns best.

What our students say about us

“Our team unanimously agreed that this was the best first aid course they have ever completed. They particularly enjoyed the delivery style and the quality of information provided. We look forward to engaging with MediTrain again in two years’ time.”

— Services Manager, JAE

“I thoroughly enjoyed the First Aid refresher course I attended yesterday with Victor at Botany. While the feedback form has limited space, I must say this was hands-down the best course I’ve taken. Victor’s engaging and humorous style captivated the class, and his expertise is second to none. I left feeling far more confident in my skills and knowledge. Keep him on!”

— Rebecca

“I want to extend my gratitude for such a warm welcome upon our arrival. Kane was an excellent instructor who covered all necessary material in a comprehensible manner. This has been my best first aid training experience in my 12 years of teaching.”

— Michelle
