The course covers advanced resuscitation skills, including high-performance CPR, airway management adjuncts, effective use of an AED, defibrillation protocols, team-based resuscitation roles and post-resuscitation care.

Delivered in class as a half-day course, the session is scenario driven, with clinical simulations that reflect the environments health professionals work in every day.

Competency is assessed through practical scenarios during the course. Successful participants receive a certificate that is valid for two years, supporting professional development and clinical governance requirements.
