Why Christchurch teams choose MediTrain

We're a family business that has been delivering first aid training for over 30 years. As an NZQA Category 1 education provider, we base everything we teach on New Zealand Resuscitation Council guidelines, and we design all our course materials right here in New Zealand.

Learning that sticks

Our courses mix video, props, hands-on practice and real scenarios, because in an emergency you don't want to remember a boring class. You want to remember what to do.

Flexible by design

Complete your theory online whenever it suits you, then attend a single day in class. No full days lost to slides and lectures, and no starting from scratch on course day.

Engaging instructors

Many of our instructors come from paramedic, nursing or healthcare backgrounds, and all of them are skilled at adapting to how each person in the room learns best.

“I took a comprehensive first aid course with MediTrain and I really liked the whole experience. First, I had to complete some online training which worked perfectly for me because I was overseas at the time. Then the in person training was held in a nice venue and the trainer was very knowledgeable. Overall I am very satisfied with the whole process and if I ever need to do it again I will choose MediTrain again.”

— Ayman

“Training was focussed, succinct and thorough. The theory, practical components and testing were conducted in a way that ensured the information was fresh at hand. The tutor was accessible and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.”
