The ZOLL AED Plus is a semi-automatic defibrillator with an LCD screen, voice prompts and step-by-step directions. Real CPR Help technology provides real-time visual and audio feedback to guide CPR compressions. It is one of the most trusted and widely used defibrillators on the market, designed to guide a responder confidently through a sudden cardiac arrest rescue. Only half of sudden cardiac arrest victims initially need a shock, but all require high-quality CPR, and the AED Plus is built around that reality. Its standout feature is Real CPR Help® technology, which provides real-time feedback on the rate and depth of chest compressions and supports rescuers with integrated text, voice, and visual prompts. An on-screen bar gauge and audio cues tell the rescuer when to "push harder" or confirm that compressions are effective — taking the guesswork out of CPR. As a semi-automatic model, the device detects a shockable heart rhythm and then prompts the rescuer to press the shock button, keeping the responder in control of shock delivery.
